Laos, United States parties strengthen cooperation, relations
Laos and the United States are moving forward in implementing the Joint Declaration on Comprehensive Partnership, signed by leaders last year. To fulfil this move, a delegation from the International Republican Institute (IRI) and the National Democratic Institute (NDI) are v isiting Laos on July 25 to 29. The US delegation, led by IRI Board of Directors member Randy Scheunemann and NDI Board of Directors member Howard Dean, yesterday paid a courtesy visit to the People’s Revolutionary Party (LPRP) Central Commit tee’s External Relations Committee Head Dr Sounthone Xayachack.
